This
little boy came with his mother and grandmother to participate in the Lavrati
ceremony at the Sri Mahamariamman temple. Both the Buddhist and Hindu communities
celebrate the 9 Gods Festival which lasts 9 days and usually occurs in
October - the 9th moon.
