The trip to Taman
Negara began with a 4 hour bus trip from Kuala Lumpur, followed by a 3
hour trip up the Tembeling River in a traditional panjang to Kuala Tahan.
There is an eleven mile unpaved road from Jerantut to Kuala Tahan, but
the boat trip is much more interesting.
