The small Tahan
River has clear water, even in early October, the beginning of the monsoon
season. The boatmen are very skillful in maneuvering the panjangs on fast
water and in shallow areas. We took a half day trip up to the rapids at
Lata Berkoh - a great trip and a nice swim.
