Yosemite and Tioga Pass Area

This could be the uncommon Yosemite Bog Aster (Symphyotrichum spathulatum var. yosemitanum) although there are quite a few very similar flowers. The deep green center of the bud is quite unusual. It could also be the Sbalpine Fleabane (Erigeron glacialis) or the Wandering Aster (Erigeron peregrinus) which is the most common variety of aster found in Yosemite.
