Yosemite and Tioga Pass Area

The Sierra Soda Straw (Angelica lineariloba) was named after its hollow stem that often is 4-5í tall. Its flowerhead is a compound umbel much like Queen Annís Lace, Cow Parsnips, Rangerís Buttons and Yampa Ė all of which are in the Carrot family. Unlike any of these, the feathery leaves have highly dissected, linear leaflets.
